Inquiry on the Steelworxx Fixing for a PA Frenum Piercing

I plan to order a Steelworxx device once he opens orders again, likely in January 2012. I’m curious about his “Fixing *for PA-Frenum Piercing” add-on for these devices. … g-44p.html Does this add-on pass through the pierced PA hole in the penis to keep you locked, or does it connect with a PA ring if I’m wearing one? I ask because I want to reduce extra gear down there if possible. If the “Fixing” can replace the ring entirely, that would be great. Has anyone got this add-on on their Steelworxx device?

I believe you need a PA ring that the fixing passes through. Thumper has (or had) one of these styles but wasn't fond of it and collaborated with steelworxx to design an improved PA fixing. If you look at his blog, there's a post where he discusses this.
