Well, if 30 years from now can be counted as "not too distant"... Yeah, I've thought about it, but it's almost impossibly hard for me to think about what my sex life will be like at that point. Likewise, I couldn't have projected when I was 20 what I'm doing now. One thing I wonder about is if I'll be wearing it just because I will have *been* wearing it for so long at that point. Already, I'm in it enough to feel more weird when it's off than when it's on. Will I want to keep it on (and will we keep making the motions of a game we don't play anymore) just for "old times' sake"? Will it be a nice reminder of good times gone by? And, most importantly, will my nurse be willing to flush out the tube twice a day?

Assuming we all stay healthy and hold onto our body parts and remain interested in sex... Seriously, one of the things I think about is coming out on the other side of menopause and hoping I'll still have my sex drive. I hear so many horror stories about post-menopausal women and how their libido does a total nosedive. But I also wonder how much they were interested in sex in the first place? Does menopause give women an excuse to give up on sex or are the hormonal changes such that the sex drive is lost? Probably it's both and depends on the person. I enjoy sex and I am hoping that that enjoyment will override the hormonal and physical changes or at least will force me to figure out a way to keep enjoying sex (dealing with vaginal dryness or whatever). When I was looking for geezer pictures for Tom, I came across a site with pictures of guys showing off/demonstrating their various types of penile implants/pumps, etc. They had all had radical prostatectomies for prostate cancer and as a result were impotent, thus necessitating the implant. One 70+ yo guy said he liked walking around with a semi-erect penis all the time (he never fully deflated his pump).
