I have a question for everyone here, whether you are male or female, keyholder or wearer… do you believe age plays a role? How old is too advanced to still wear a chastity device? When replying, please mention your gender and if you hold the key or wear the cage.
Male wearer, age 57. I'll consider myself too old when my custom device comes off by itself without help.:lol:

Don't worry about Tom. He is old. And grumpy:) I think if you are going to ask this question, you should at least start by stating your own stats. I'm guessing, based on the wording, that you are rather young and haven't realized yet that getting older doesn't mean losing your desire for sexual intimacy. So, with that in mind, I would agree with locked4her55 and Tom that age isn't really a factor (at least that's what they seem to be saying).
"It is my ambition to be shot, in bed, at the age of eighty, by a jealous husband"... said someone (anyone know who?). Twelve years left until I find out whether denial remains as bittersweet now as it does today.

She has her hair too long; at that age she needs a nice, sensible cut," or "Dude, lose the ponytail, it looks so '80s," or "Grandpa, why would you get a tattoo when you're your age?" There is this notion - really a misconception - that once you hit XX years old, you are supposed to lose interest in sex; or perhaps that if you *still* have an interest in it, it's seen as inappropriate. This holds double for any kinky inclinations. And I don't mean to yell at the OP - I'm sure his question came from innocent curiosity, and frankly, I'm sore and easily irritated because of some recent surgery. But really, hope you could have phrased it like "I'm 38, and I wonder if I can still wear my device when I reach 58?" or something similar.

Anecdotally speaking, there -is- a correlation between age and longer refractory periods. As I get older, I don't notice any drop in my interest in sex, but I do notice some reduced recovery ability. So, let's say you have a body that is sensitive to the effects of post-orgasmic prolactin. At 20, the effect might last 24 hours or less. By age 40, those same effects might significantly impact your ability to maintain a satisfying sex life with your partner. Thus, using a chastity device as a fun sexual aid comes with a commensurately greater reward: you gain much more sexual uptime than you would have at 20. That said, I wish my partner and I had discovered chastity 10 to 15 years ago. Before that, I don't know if I would have been relaxed enough about sex to truly enjoy it—it has taken me a long time to shed those hangups.

I've tried to imagine the hormone-fueled youth that was me at 20 years old in chastity. Unfortunately, today's devices weren't available back then, and neither were many of today's keyholders in the 1970s. I am very happy with my chastity lifestyle, but I realize that the state of arousal I achieve by day 60 would have been reached by myself at age 20 in about just 3 hours.
