CB6000s condensation

Alright, this could be nothing at all, but I wanted to bring it up. I’ve been locked in the CB6000s since January 1st and have only stepped out once so far. To protect things from damage, I’m applying light coats of mineral oil-based lube. It feels like there’s always some fluctuating condensation building up inside the tube. My best guess is that it comes down to my body heat (though those freezing North Dakota winters probably play a part too). Fortunately, I haven’t dealt with any skin irritation or rashes, and luckily no bad smells have shown up either.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how did you fix it if fixing was necessary? Also, after watching Thumper’s helpful cleaning video, I started wondering: what is the best method for drying out that metal tube? Thanks.

1) Consider swapping mineral oil for hand lotion. It cleans up much easier. 2) I deal with condensation (water, sweat, etc.) inside the upper part of the tube too. The most effective solution is to use a q-tip and swab around the interior walls. 3) Perhaps it's just me, but the moisture hasn't bothered me at all. My routine involves showering in the morning and applying a small amount of lotion. In the evening, I rinse the tube with warm water from a squeeze bottle. Then I let it air dry overnight while I sleep, which seems to do the trick.

I wear a cb-6000s as well. So far, I've worn it for up to three days straight without taking it off, and I frequently see the same kind of condensation you described. It hasn't caused me any trouble, though when I'm in the shower, I give it a thorough wash using those spongy swabs from . They work great as long as you are careful with them. I also use spray bottles to help rinse and clean. To dry it out, I do my best using tissues, q-tips, and a hair dryer. Everything has been working well so far. I don't really use lubricants; instead, I just put a little lotion at the bottom inside the base ring before going to bed.
