Single vs Double Mature Metal Base Rings

Hi everyone! Has anyone here made the switch from a standard round base ring by Mature Metal to one of their oval or double-base options? I was considering just having mine adjusted slightly smaller, but now it looks like there are more choices available. It seems clear that the extra surface area in the double-ring design likely offers better security and comfort, yet does it introduce too much bulk? Is there a noticeable difference between the round versions and the oval ones? Thanks for your input.:)

I can't speak to whether round is better than oval since I've only ever used an oval one, but I own both a single and a double base ring. I enjoy them equally and alternate between the two. If forced to choose, I'd pick the double over the single. The extra weight is minimal and doesn't really bother me. Personally, I prefer the sensation of that added width, and honestly, it feels more secure. I was worried putting on a double might be tricky at first, but it hasn't been an issue.
