modifying the cb6000s device

hi, ive been wearing a cb6000s for a few days and its going well so far, ive adjusted the ring sizes and gap and prevented ball slip out however im now incredibly sore from the ring, wonder why they didn’t make a smooth ring! I also have a metal one and don’t usually have any problems with the ring as its smooth, the cb ones have ridges and its cutting in when I get an erection, Ive been using baby oil underneath the ring, i.e from the back, but where the balls clamp between the cage and ring they overlap the ring and I cant get my finger in or a swab without pain, or if I should ride it out and I will get accustomed to the device? wondering if anyone has modified it, i.e filled the ridge in and sanded down with some 800-1000 grit, to smooth it up, and if it helped? thanks

The rings you describe are from a fake cb6000s. The real 6ks has smooth rings and no seam to sand down. I had a fake 6000 and did fill in the ring with epoxy and then sanded it down. Worked for a while until the plastic cage broke.

ive used some clear silicone sealant, normal bathroom/kitchen, its some anti-mould, anti germ one, basically just filled in the groove, has anyone else used normal diy store silicone?
