Mature Metal revisions

I recently received my Jailbird back from MM and wanted to share some thoughts on the changes they made. I had originally measured it as being too long, so I requested a .5” reduction in cage length. I also dropped down one size for the base ring and opted for a double ring instead of a single. Additionally, I added a second locking hole which allows me to use both a security screw and a padlock simultaneously.

The turnaround time was about a week from when I sent it back to MM. The fit is now spot on; in fact, I barely notice wearing it after just one day and night. For those wondering whether to go with the double ring, it’s truly great. My only minor issue is that sometimes my urethral opening rubs against my clothes, but a small adjustment sorts it out. Overall, this first overnight wear has been comfortable—certainly improved since shortening the cage. I did experience some early morning erection pain/aching which should hopefully improve.

In summary, I don’t see how this device could be any better (aside from perhaps choosing powdercoating or anodizing). Thanks to MM!

My Jailbird’s gap was widened to the next size up (from 3/8" to 7/16") and that resolved my night-time pain/aching. I’m now interested in your double ring idea too. What do you think is the main difference between using a single versus a double ring?
