why does a shorter cage work best?

Hello I’m currently ordering an MM jb and considering the dimensions. I’ve noticed various comments suggesting a shorter cage is preferable, and after just getting a cb6000s cage to test this idea, I agree but can’t quite articulate why. Is it because erections don’t tend to try so hard to pull my balls off, or is there another reason? B

The shorter cage does a better job of halting an erection before it extends too far and feels like the ring might tear your nuts off:)

I figured as much. I've been wearing my short cb6000 since this morning and it does seem more comfortable. Thanks
