Steelworxx Delivery Duration

I got a looker 02 from Steelworxx on May 7, and the order arrived by May 9. At that point, Dietmar mentioned it would take about 8 weeks to get my cage. It feels like an eternity.

Dietmar recently posted this update on his site: “Due to high demand, we are pausing new orders from June 20, 2014 through July 19, 2014. Thank you for your patience.”

1. Has anyone else placed an order with Steelworxx lately? Did the estimated delivery time they gave match up?
2. Is this a regular occurrence for Dietmar? I’ve noticed it during holiday seasons before, but I didn’t check his page every day back then.
3. Does anyone know roughly how many cages he makes annually? He really could use some help.
