Lacking a Key Holder

I’m new to the world of chastity and don’t have a key holder just yet. I need some suggestions for storing the key so it’s not too easy to reach while I’m locked up. I considered mailing the key back to myself, which would force me to wait several days before getting it returned. However, this makes me slightly anxious about potential emergencies; I want somewhere that is inconvenient but still reachable if necessary. What are your practices?

Freeze it inside a cup or bottle of water Submerge it in a full gallon (or even just a pint) of paint. Bury the key in your garden soil. Ask a friend to hold onto it for you. You could also put it inside a lock box and mail yourself that separate box's key... meaning if needed, you can break open the main lockbox. Let me know if I remember more options!:)
