Is the Device Shifting Upward During Erection?

When I get hard inside the cage, my base ring seems to shift upward. Other users have mentioned that it rides up and compresses their testicles. So, I set out to observe exactly what occurs when I attempt an erection while caged. The outcome was unexpected. Although it feels as though my balls are being tugged and some of the engorgement has slipped past the base ring, this isn’t actually happening. In the left image, I am trying to get hard. The entire setup, including the base ring, is pushed forward, and my glans presses firmly against the bars (which creates those grill marks).

There is erectile tissue located behind the visible part of the penis that normally swells with blood and pushes outward. Without a cage, this adds length to your erection, appearing as the “root.” When caged, that same tissue still engorges but merely shifts everything forward slightly. While some men have more of this rear tissue than others, their penises remain securely contained.

I’ve seen numerous posts from guys attempting smaller rings to stop this issue. As these pictures show, the ring isn’t the culprit; it’s simply our anatomy keeping our cocks safely tucked away.
