I’m planning to switch over to a Jail Bird shortly and wanted to know what I should be looking out for. Is it possible to urinate while standing up? What about morning erections? How is the comfort level, hygiene, and security? Currently wearing a CB6000 so comparisons with that model will help me understand better. The setup involves just one ring secured by a padlock, without any extra attachments. Although I have an incomplete circumcision (done poorly), I requested the bars be flipped around to ensure they don’t pinch my skin. Do you have any tips for someone moving from the CB6000 to the Jail Bird? Thanks.
There are a few things I can mention. The biggest difference is getting used to the solid base ring. Putting it on and taking it off becomes easier with practice; consider trying it in the shower while your scrotum is wet, but avoid soap residue. Once you get the hang of it, it feels natural quickly. You won't need lubricant inside the cage anymore, though a little bit around the base ring helps until your skin adapts, particularly at the bottom area. Hygiene improves significantly and the padlock stays still without rattling. Mornings might bring some discomfort during erections. It's not quite "set it and forget it" yet; you need to break in the device much like you did with the CB-X. Good luck!
Thanks Wishful4.
