Steelworxx Device with Detachable Urethral Tube

Does anyone have a Steelworxx device with a tube that can be removed? Is it comfortable for long-term wear without the tube in place? What about hygiene concerns? I picture there’s threading where the tube connects—does that lead to spraying or make urination tricky?
