Wait for Instruction to Lock Up or Do It Yourself

When you get a brief pause or some refitting time, whatever it may be, do you wait for permission to relock in, or do you just go ahead and do it on your own. I figure that being told brings an extra layer of excitement compared to doing it yourself.

My KH kept me unlocked for the last month and it was really hard (no pun intended) to not ask whether I was ever going back in. Suddenly, over the weekend she says its probably time to go back in. Then she proceeded to edge me last night and first thing this morning. Keeping her word, she locked me back in this morning. Dang that is hot! Especially with the extra verbal and touching teasing before heading to work. She holds the key; she makes the rules; she decides when to lock/unlock.

While it can be hotter to be told so, I often initiate it if my gf doesn't. Sometimes she's still a little timid about bringing it up unless it's been a long time so I think by me locking it and not telling her, it's a surprise when she finds out I've already been locked for a day or more. And then she can feel comfortable knowing the game is on. I think it takes some of the stress and responsibility off of her as she is not naturally dominant. So I'd suggest if you are ready to be locked up, go for it yourself and then hand her the key when she least expects it. So far it's turned out well for me.
