Within a few days of using it, I heard my Holy Trainer 2 clicking whenever I shifted it around (ahem). It seemed like the bio-resin was softening from prolonged exposure to body heat and losing its grip. The tube would wobble on the ring base, causing those clicks.
It reminded me of a plastic toy from my childhood that changed shape with warmth. If internal heat could loosen it, external ambient heat should be able to reshape it back into place. Here is how I fixed it:
First, separate the HT2 tube and ring, then submerge both parts in a sink filled with hot tap water. Leave them there until they cool down enough to handle comfortably—I usually step out for a shower while waiting.
Once removed from the lukewarm bath, rinse the pieces under cold tap water to chill them completely. Reassemble the HT2 components now; they should snap back into their original snug fit and silence.
Enjoy your steady, quiet Holy Trainer 2! Whenever it loosens up again in the future, just repeat this quick heat treatment during a cleaning session.
