Skin peeling from the scrotum

I’ve been working on getting used to wearing the mm jailbird around the clock. There was a painful red line at the back of my scrotum and also near the top by the shaft, so I needed some time off. The lines formed scabs that peeled away. It didn’t look like there was any bleeding. Has anyone else gone through this while taking a break?
