troubles with the cage

I’m using an IHappygo Male Chastity Device Hypoallergenic Stainless Steel Cock Cage with the medium ring. I’ve been running into some problems and could use a hand. Last night I slept in it, then wore it during the day while handling my “chores.” By afternoon, I felt a burning under the bottom of the ring. Silicon lube didn’t fix it. Do you have any tips?

Hinged rings can sometimes cause irritation; hair might be getting tugged or skin could bunching up. Your size doesn't always remain constant throughout the day. You've probably noticed that temperature and activity levels shift things around. You may need to adjust how your skin sits within the ring, pulling it one way or another. If you wear it continuously eventually, the skin will toughen up a bit and the discomfort should ease. I've experienced similar sensations after returning to full-time locking following about two years of being unlocked. Keep an eye on that area to ensure no sores or broken skin appear.

I concur with all the great advice from TM. I'd only add that for me, "ball burn" was caused by a gap that was too narrow. Following their recommendation, I sent my Jail Bird back to Mature Metal. They widened the gap by just 1/16", which allowed me to wear the JB indefinitely in perfect comfort. Before this adjustment, regardless of how much or what type of lube I used, I'd be in significant pain after four to six hours.
