We need to update our board icon. “Thumper” will eventually cause us some hassle. I’m open to ideas. We use it in two places: the banner at the top, and as a favicon on browser tabs and mobile home screens. Simplicity is key. The more cluttered the image, the tougher it becomes to convert it into a square icon for phones. So far, we have two concepts from the admin forum. Unicorn, representing purity and chastity: … 60039.html Cat and rooster, fitting the theme with a touch of humor: …?version=0 For the “cat and rooster” choice, I’d use just the cat for the square icon on tabs and screens. Edit: here is a rabbit option if we want to stick with that motif. I’d appreciate feedback, especially from keyholders. The goal of this forum is to be welcoming for “vanilla” partners, which includes the image we choose.

It doesn't bother me personally since no one else uses my devices, but I can see how a new design might invite scrutiny. Not sure there's a way to avoid that unless we pick something totally neutral like a blue triangle; people really shouldn't leave these icons where anyone could look at them!! > perhaps the issue you mention isn't about public perception but copyright or something similar? Bingo. That’s thumper. We can’t use that image. A generic rabbit sure, but not thumper. > a padlock feels more sensible or maybe the femdomme symbol It depends on how explicit we want to be. That’s why I wanted input from keyholders. Rabbit and unicorn are symbols not directly tied to locks or femdomme, yet they carry relevant meaning. The rabbit nods to the board founder's sub persona. The unicorn represents chastity. Cat and rooster because - do I need to explain that?:) I think guys tend to prefer depicting the subject matter of the board directly. That’s one valid approach.
