There’s been plenty of discussion regarding the Nub and its copycat models. I’ve spent enough time wearing a DHGate version to share my perspective. Since I only wear it when work demands, three consecutive days is usually my limit; most often, though, it’s for less than a day full-time.

  1. Surprisingly compact… yet comfortable. Previous plastic gadgets haven’t worked well for me, but this one stands out. Being naturally small in the flaccid state, I worried about fit, but it just works. Larger men have reported similar results.
  2. It feels very emasculating. If you want that castrated sensation, this device delivers.
  3. A larger-than-usual ring was necessary for a proper fit here, though I’m not sure why. Getting it on is straightforward with the correct size, but downgrading one ring size makes it nearly impossible to secure.
  4. People claim they’re easy to maintain, but I disagree. The cage area doesn’t ventilate well enough to stay fresh. While I can rinse it in the shower, it accumulates grime faster than my usual Contender model.
  5. It passes through metal detectors without issue. However, based on Thumper’s recent experience, airport backscatter scanners might pose a problem for any device of this type.
  6. Some chafing occurred initially; I expect this will improve with regular use.
  7. Sensation during attempted arousal is minimal. Partly due to size, but also because it feels mentally futile—just doesn’t happen. Plus, you can’t touch anything at all since everything is encased.
  8. Urination is simple, provided alignment is checked correctly.
  9. The Chinese build quality is solid. That plastic odor lingers and isn’t going away easily.
  10. After just a few hours, I’m ready to return to the Contender.

For what it's worth, I previously owned a knockoff and am now using the authentic version. My previous unit was quite warped, making long-term wear difficult; even its 36mm ring couldn't accommodate my anatomy because the tube wouldn't pass through it. The genuine article has zero odor but requires cleaning every few days (we bought it specifically for that reason—MsM enjoys having a justification to play more). I’m currently using the 40mm ring, which works well, but I have a 36mm ring coming so I can try reducing rotation. Despite expecting difficulty due to its tiny size, once aligned properly, it slides together easily—much easier than other small stainless steel devices. Horses for courses: after five years in chastity, we’re thrilled with our return to HT (Head of the House/standard HTC), though we did so for specific reasons. MsM’s ld

I concur with Naljeans’ assessment. I also bought the DHgate imitation and expected a similar experience to slave’s report. I took a gamble and was pleasantly surprised by what arrived. Initially, I doubted my ability to fit into it, but I managed, and it felt quite comfortable. I wore it for three or four days; my only two complaints were occasionally getting urine on my scrotum because the device sits so close to the body, and wondering if it offered more security than my A273 model. Shower tests yielded similar results: with enough soap, it can pull out from the back quite easily. I didn’t experience chafing during those few days but agree that cleanliness requires attention for all enclosed plastic devices, just as you noted regarding slave’s comment. Overall, a good purchase. Since returning to my A273 (my wife prefers stainless steel), I believe there will be future occasions where I’ll use it again briefly.
