A fellow member recently noted how pleasant it is to virtually connect with someone nearby, which sparked a thought in me. How would things go if we actually gathered together at a pub? Here on the forum, we are straightforward and open about our habits: saying things like “I lick her whenever I’m asked”, “She pegs me”, “I consume my own semen”, “She spanks me”, and owning up to being submissive. We respect each other’s lifestyles and kinks equally. But would that sense of openness and mutual acceptance fade if we were all in the same physical space? I like to believe I wouldn’t feel awkward discussing things I’ve admitted here, especially among people who share similar interests, but you never know. Once introductions are done, will we be chatting about sports and politics or swapping stories about new cage designs and ‘hot remarks our key holders have made’? …and how would it work if our key holders joined us as well!?
> But would we lose that openness and acceptance of each other if we were all in the same room? It depends on where it takes place. You can foster those kinds of talks by organizing them well. I will use the MAsT discussion format, although our specific topic here and how people identify themselves might differ. Members are screened via a phone call before receiving an invitation. This vetting process effectively filters out the most problematic individuals and works better than expected. The host suggests three topics for invites; members can propose more if they wish, though it rarely happens. Everyone gathers for potluck-style socializing, lasting about 45 minutes in person. Recently, these have often been video pre-chats instead. Once we meet, the ground rules are read aloud: basic respect and behavior, plus “what is shared here stays here, and what is said during breakouts remains private.” The group votes on which topic to discuss first. Discussion begins; people raise their hands to speak. In person, a ‘speaker plush’ was passed around to indicate whose turn it was. After 30 or 45 minutes (I need to verify), the group splits into two: key holders in one room and those who are locked up in another. These can be separate virtual rooms or physical spaces. Again, breakout discussions remain private between those groups; lockers do not share their details with key holders, and vice versa. Afterwards, everyone reconvenes for 15 minutes to wrap up. We might share high-level summaries like “We discussed the challenge of staying engaged,” without giving specific names or detailed anecdotes. And that covers the housekeeping. Our MAsT group met monthly. I am not certain if chastity play is niche enough to sustain its own structure this way, or whether we would eventually run out of topics or interested attendees. If it involves Female Led Relationships (FLR), it fits well into the broader MAsT context as it stands now. I’d love your thoughts: Do you want to form a discussion group locally or online? Are you motivated enough to join established groups like MAsT?
