Is the Fit Right?

Folks, I could use some advice. The soft silicon device I previously owned was uncomfortable around my scrotum due to its edges, so I purchased a metal one instead. This new piece has the most comfortable ring of all five that are in my collection. The rings run down along the shaft and finish with a crossover at the tip. Even though it fits snugly and is comfortable after long periods of wear, it feels like it’s pulling as if it might slip off entirely. Is this due to an improper fit, or just how it works? Also, when I sit down, it seems to tug on the skin underneath and my sac, leading to frequent adjustments or even sharp pain. Do you have any thoughts, suggestions, or helpful websites? Google mostly returns adult content though. Thanks in advance.
