Ball divider bars for short cages?

Here’s my latest beginner question: I’m using a super short cage. It fits well enough for someone who doesn’t have much to show off, and it works great. The issue is with the scrotum rolling up. It looks like the skin tends to bunch over the top of the device a little, which leads to some pinching. I’ve seen certain designs that include a bar separating the testicles. That sounds like it could be exactly what’s needed to stop this from happening. Does anyone else experience this or use such a separator?
