Hinged versus solid base rings

Does anyone else struggle to pass both testicles through a single-piece ring? I’m using a 50mm one, but it seems impossible for both balls to fit. Luckily, I spotted a cock cage on EBay from an excellent Chinese maker who crafts them by hand; the key is its hinged ring, which opens up so I can slip behind both testicles.

It’s such a big upgrade! What does everyone else think? Drop me a line if you’d like to see some photos. Hoss
