Pubic Area Swelling Just Past the Bottom Ring?

Does the area of pubic hair right behind where the ring sits often swell up and nudge the cage forward a bit during an erection? While I’m not erecting, it lies nice and flat against my waist. But when getting hard, even though the shaft remains soft inside the device, it feels as if pressure is driving the interior of my penis backward and upward toward the skin of my pelvis. (I can upload a photo to the members lounge if that helps) I tend to be more of a grower than a shower and like smaller or nub-style cages, though I’ve experimented with several sizes considered ‘ideal’ (testing every ring size that fits), yet this same phenomenon occurs even in those better-fitting options. Could my devices simply be too small for me, or is this pretty standard?
