Fresh unit from Bass Works

I’ve been diving into the discussions about shorter cages being superior. I prefer having a little bit of space to move, so I picked up one of Bass Works’ semi-custom models.

The model I chose is a BS-13D, with an overall cage length of 45 mm (including the ring and the 8mm gap). In my opinion, it’s quite short. It keeps me tightly compressed, particularly when paired with the 4.5-inch urethra tube.

I own some shorter off-the-rack cages as well as nubs, but they tend to let things bulge out at the sides. This one secures everything much better.

The fit is excellent. The domed top of the urethra tube sits perfectly inside the cage head, keeping all components aligned. Once I enlarged the opening in the tube to five mm, flow has been smooth. Despite its shortness, this new unit is surprisingly comfortable with no major complaints about either the cage or the tube—I’m really happy I ordered it. While I might not be ready to fully give up my 34-R (especially when using that urethra tube in it), this one is significantly shorter and has a narrower diameter, holding everything snugly and providing fresh sensations.

Perhaps shorter truly is better? It just needs to be the right kind of short.
