The bars that run the length of the penis are exactly 1cm apart on my device. I have no significant bulging even when I am suffering an erection. Clearly the 'tube' fills and the flesh tries to escape. I do suffer a lot of pain when erect and this is why CQ takes me out at night and puts me in the BON4. I really like the JB and CQ loves metal on me she hated the CB6000 which was our first long term wear device. CQ's

My concern was that the small vent holes in the CB3k and 6k allowed a lot of skin to balloon through, which was painful. But maybe because there were only 3 small holes, instead of a longer section, any swelling just popped through that section. Over the longer area, I'm guessing that the swelling is somewhat equalized. The pain that you get - is it in the tube, or from the rings?
The pain comes from the base ring crushing my balls as the erection forces the cage away. I grow massively from soft to erect. When in had a cb6000 mostbtimes inwould barely fill the tube when soft. When hard it nearly split the tube. My JB cage is 1.5" and I fill it completely when soft, to the point that when CQ takes me out I have impressions in the skin from the rods. It's not painful or sore. The base ring is 1 3/8" and is very snug. It needs good amounts of lube to stop the scrotal skin being sore. I get very purple when hardens develop in the cage!
