Should I go with the MCD or the Neo?

As many of you know, I’m preparing to switch to the Birdlocked silicone device. I’ve got my measurements and know which one to order, but I’d like some advice on exactly which model to choose? I was leaning toward the black Birdlocked MCD since it’s black and would coordinate well with my collar. On the other hand, there’s also the new Birdlocked Neo, which is supposedly the latest and greatest iteration of this device. Does anyone here have experience with either of them? I don’t think I’m quite ready to commit to a metal one (though I’ve already selected and measured for that possibility too). That said, it doesn’t matter much because as a college student on a budget, I can’t really afford the price tag just yet!

Have you checked out the Bon4? It's quite similar to the Birdlock but features adjustability.
