Introductions discussion

I’m not certain this is the correct spot…

I just wanted to drop a note apologizing for my long absence from the forums. I realize most folks here don’t know me well, and I haven’t had much opportunity to chat with many people before vanishing. Fortunately, I was in the process of building some nice connections right up until I left.

A lot is happening at home currently, which has been my primary excuse for staying away. Being relatively new to this lifestyle, I often felt I lacked both the energy and the liberty to dive straight into things alongside all that other activity. So, apologies to those of you with whom I’ve spoken—I hope we re-connect soon, though I’ll probably remain away from here for a bit longer.

I suppose I haven’t really been missed since I wasn’t exactly a regular presence, but I did want to ensure my quiet exit hadn’t annoyed any of the wonderful people I got to talk with.
