Mature Metal discussion

Hi, I just picked up an MM Jailbird (no padlock included) and I’m trying to figure out which one to get. Could someone verify what the maximum shackle diameter is that the Jail Bird supports? I’m thinking of purchasing the ABUS T65AL/40 “myLock” with a 6.5mm shackle diameter. Will it work? Is it too large? I need something rustproof and quiet (this specific ABUS model seems to be plastic-coated, so it shouldn’t clank like metal on metal). Best regards, Rob
