Female led relationships discussion

I have a query for the Dom/me community: how do you prefer to be addressed by submissives when there is no established D/s dynamic between you? Take another member of this forum, for instance. Some subs use titles like ‘Sir’ or ‘Mistress’ with every Dom/me they meet, and I understand that some tops appreciate it. On the flip side, others find it a bit much when someone completely unfamiliar addresses them so formally. For my part, I have always felt it was a little presumptuous of the sub to do so without prior agreement. Before we decide to play together, we are essentially equals. I like getting to know people as individuals first and letting the titles arrive later to highlight the change in our dynamic. That is simply how I see it though. What are your thoughts?
