“Hello all,
Am I overlooking some prejudice against permanent chastity? Right now, I’m locked in a MM Jailbird cage, with its security screw held tight using blue Loctite. The plan is for the screw to be removable with just the key, but it won’t loosen by itself. We’re heading toward a permanent setup, and she’s already bought red Loctite, which acts as a permanent bond. Like some other couples here, we’ve invested thousands in various devices searching for ‘the perfect cage’. This isn’t an impulsive choice; it’s been part of our 10-year journey. She is 64 and very recently admitted that her sexual desire has faded. It felt like a sign, with her lack of interest coinciding with us finally finding the right device.
We’ve discussed this extensively. She feels she isn’t giving up anything and would actually prefer I never be inside her or have an orgasm again. Since we found out the Jailbird works for her without problems, she’s been so happy. At 52 (and being a man:)), I still have the desire and capability I had at 16. She did remind me that I might be signing up for 30 years of denial.
For us, chastity and the extra attention she gets because of it are what matter most. She isn’t a Domme; honestly, she prefers I stay all man and handle most household matters. It’s always been a bit of give-and-take: she usually defers to my opinion, while I try hard to make her happy and show her how much she means to me.
Anyway, after that long update, I’ve heard from several people here who have negative views on our plans. One person suggested I just cut it off since it will be out of reach forever. As mentioned, she prefers me all male. Another questioned the permanent Loctite and ‘emergencies’. Any device can be cut in nearly any ER across America, so don’t worry about that. And no, it wouldn’t embarrass me at all. After such an event, we could simply order a new device.
So, I’d love your opinions on our plans. It won’t change our minds; we are very happy with the decision. I just like to see every angle of things. If you’ve read this far, thanks for sticking around.
"It's a matter of what fits best for each person ('horses for courses'). Since you are both happy with your situation, who has the right to judge? Only the two of you truly know all the details, reasons, and feelings. My take is: if it works for you both and makes you happy, then good luck and keep going!
