Mature Metal discussion

Hi all, I recently picked up a Jail Bird. While it fits well overall, the scrotum feels incredibly tight and gives me a mild ache. Walking becomes quite challenging because my compressed ballsack bumps against my leg, making it too uncomfortable to keep on. The base ring is fine though; there’s no pinching or other issues with it. Does anyone know what might be off with the fit? I’d like to ask for the right adjustment when I return it.
