Site announcements and information discussion

Morning everyone! I spent the whole night working on some upgrades for you. Nothing major just yet, unfortunately. Here is what got updated:

• Forum core: upgraded to latest version with minor features and security improvements.
• Theme: refreshed with added security.
• Gallery: new security updates included.
• Instant Messenger Bar: also secured. As it turns out, the focus has been heavily on safety! Keeping our software current boosts performance and makes the platform safer. We’ve also implemented some measures to prevent spammers and bots from joining us. I’ll be rolling out a few more feature updates soon along with other site adjustments, so keep an eye out for my next update post. Please let me know if you spot any problems or notice anything off! Agreed. When I ran my own forum, a huge chunk of my time was spent battling spammers and hackers. It covered a topic that really gets people passionate, leading to very organized attacks trying to knock the site offline. Eventually, I closed it down because it felt like only I cared about keeping it running.
