Mature Metal discussion

I chatted with Mature Metal yesterday (their support is genuinely excellent!). I wanted to gather a few more opinions. My Jailbird’s base ring measures 2 1/8”. I assumed the issue was just that it needed to be smaller because there’s too much slipping around. I can fit two or three fingers between my body and the ring. According to my sizing rings, this is exactly how it has been since I first ordered them. A 2” ring feels a bit snug; it restricts blood flow enough for long-term wear that isn’t comfortable. Maybe I should try a 2 1/16”, but I don’t have one of that precise size to test right now. Also, they mentioned the difference between sizes is too small to really change how it fits. I’m pretty sure about the cage dimensions themselves though—the diameter and length are spot on. The sides and tip make light contact without pinching. I’m wondering if adding a second base ring would fix my issue while keeping the same overall width. If that fails, however…the double base rings can’t be resized. So puzzled!!
