I’ve just completed a prototype device that covers the glans and is currently being tested. It’s designed for use with a PA piercing.

This unit consists essentially of the front cage section from my Contender product line, crafted entirely out of stainless steel. A medium-security screw connects the PA pin to the cage structure.

At 1-1/2 ounces, it weighs less than half as much as the MouseTrap. I put it on today and plan to test it overnight to see if I can handle a nighttime erection without issue. If things go well, I’ll keep it on for several more days, or longer, depending on my comfort level.

The primary worry with tube-only designs is that the PA piercing must support the whole weight of the device. Heavier units can cause migration or even tearing of the piercing. However, given how light this particular piece is, I don’t anticipate any problems while wearing it. [[Image: glans_shield_01.jpg]](the referenced community page)
