The CB3000 has lost its appeal for me, so I’m considering a custom metal piece, likely from Mature Metal. While there’s plenty of guidance on calculating cage length (usually soft length minus 1/4” to 1/2”), I’m struggling more with the ring-to-cage gap and the overall diameter. Any tips? What are the risks if these measurements are off by a significant margin?
