It makes sense now why I need Lockit kept locked. He is done with freedom.

It’s Sunday morning, and we are still in bed after a late night last evening—a night where I let him off the lock.

Lockit has been staying here since last weekend (when we traveled for Valentines Day), and during this week he brought up more than once that he would rise to prepare my breakfast.

This morning, as we woke up, I proposed it was time for him to head down. His answer was “in a minute.” I wasn’t very happy with that response and made sure he knew it. After some pouting and attempts to cuddle his way out of the task, he finally got up and went downstairs to brew tea and cook breakfast.

The fact that I had to put in effort to convince him means no more unlocked nights for free will be allowed for him.
