Haha. I just made a silly mistake in the title, writing Avatarts instead of avatars.

Anyway, here are some thoughts on images within this lovely forum.

To start with, what’s happening with avatars right now? When I first joined, people softly suggested I pick a more neutral avatar so as not to frighten off the ladies. Lately though, there’s been quite an increase in caged penises showing up, which even I find slightly unsettling. A Domme recently wrote a blog post complaining that although chastity is meant to center on women and leave the penis out of it, for most men it’s ALL about their genitals. Honestly, I have to agree.

That’s why when I browse the Gallery or Tumblr posts about chastity, I think eeeek! Penises everywhere! Locked or unlocked, skinny ones (sometimes uncomfortably close), fat ones, hairy ones, bald ones wearing panties. The problem is there’s very little creativity in simply pointing a camera at your bits. After a while, these images don’t really excite me anymore. Tumblr is honestly starting to bore me. My only thought becomes: hmmm, another caged penis.

Don’t misunderstand me; I was just as guilty of this when I started out—I have a few such photos in my own gallery. However, I much prefer images where someone has put in some effort. I’m going to miss AndrewK because his gallery was truly inspiring (though that isn’t a criticism against him for leaving). @jemima has beautiful pictures that I’d love to copy and plan to one day, even though I’m older and don’t boast the same fantastic figure she does. There are other good examples too.

We constantly read about how men struggle to get their wives and girlfriends involved in this lifestyle, which seems absurd because it offers so many benefits. But can you blame the ladies when the first thing they see is something like our gallery? You want me to do what!? NO. I am not a freak!

Yet we keep hearing that successful FLR (Female Led Relationship) and Femdom couples—even those who only use chastity for weekend fun—take their time.

So come on everyone, let’s try to improve the image of this community. Let’s make it warmer and more inviting to look at. (By the way, I’ve received so much warmth, help, and advice through your words that I absolutely love being here!) Yes, while we focus mostly but not entirely on male orgasms and chastity, does that have to result in penises everywhere?
