At the beginning of our FLR, my husband agreed that I would hold total authority over everything, including our finances. I had his salary go directly into my account and updated all the passwords so he couldn’t even log in to check it. He receives $20 weekly plus a credit card for urgent needs. Financially, we have never been better since then. We’ve paid off every credit card except one, built up our savings, and still have surplus funds at month’s end.
Has anyone else noticed similar results when the wife takes charge of the money? Tomorrow is his weekly allowance day, which covers all his spending for that period. I really enjoy managing the cash flow and was curious if others share this setup.
what happens if he wants to treat you to dinner?? Months of pay gone like that?? Or do you foot the bill??:P
