WOW! I can’t believe that the hardware (CB6Ks) has been on me for over a full day now. Walking around with it during the daytime felt so unique… sometimes it was easy to forget about, but other times even the tiniest nudge would serve as a reminder of my new reality. I had insisted nearly too much that I wanted her to keep the key, yet we reached a better solution: she keeps the key on a chain around my neck so I have a constant physical reminder! Furthermore, it will be at least another 3-4 full days before I can speak with her again; now I am completely shut until then. Oh yes and she made sure to say that there is ABSOLUTELY no guarantee she’ll let me out anytime soon!
