Chastity and orgasm denial discussion

For those of you who stick with tube-only designs, what are your thoughts on the right length? Most people suggest keeping it very short, usually around ~1”–1.5” along the shaft… During my own sizing tests, I discovered that a longer option feels better for me because it covers more of my flaccid shaft—something closer to 2 1/4”. Does this mean the shorter tube is actually less comfortable over time? Is there a security factor behind sticking with short tubes? Since I plan on wearing mine long-term, comfort matters greatly. I want to make sure I pick correctly.
