Female led relationships discussion

… and now he is free from his cage, and I feel disappointed knowing he has that freedom back. It doesn’t sit well with me. Even though our contract still holds him there and he’s promised to be a good little sub who behaves, the idea of him being uncaged makes me unhappy. My key hangs around my neck as proof of our commitment, yet it isn’t enough.

Has anyone else dealt with their sub becoming free because circumstances beyond our control forced it? How do you manage that sensation… I suppose it’s a loss of authority over him when he is out of the cage. I didn’t expect to feel this let down. All I can do is hope things turn around quickly so I can lock him back in his place.
