I was roughly 13 when I visited a nearby fairground and spotted a huge inflatable bouncy castle. There were around ten people jumping inside it, spanning various ages; some adults joined in too, including a woman who looked to be about 30 years old. She wore what appeared to be a yellow summer dress on that hot day.
She had been bouncing for quite some time before she tumbled down. Because of the heat and being out of breath, she remained there for a bit. Unbeknownst to her, she had landed right on top of a boy’s face; he was approximately 15 years old. As she sat recovering her breathing, she didn’t realize she was perched on someone’s face! The boy lay prone on his side, looking as if he were dead with his features pressed into the castle floor. I couldn’t tell whether he liked it or just felt too shy and embarrassed to ask her to move.
Eventually, she got up and walked off entirely unaware of what had happened. A few of my friends saw it too—it was quite amusing. It still brings a smile to my face whenever I recall it. What a delicate young man!
