Introductions discussion

Hello everyone: I’m not sure why, but it seems like many folks hang around in silence for ages before finally registering, and I’ve been one of them. I’ve visited this site pretty much since what I think was its beginning (or maybe a bit later). I stumbled upon this forum while browsing another place where I’d been lurking since 2005! The other day I realized there’s a sense of “authenticity” here that I haven’t found elsewhere. No need to judge, it’s just my personal take. This is where I feel at ease. Then there was the matter of having enough time to post and get involved in this community, which is exactly what I’d want if I joined. Anyway, I’ve finally arrived! As long as I have free moments, I hope to share things with you all, perhaps even upload a real photo. (Or maybe an interesting avatar too!) That’s pretty much it for now, but here I am and I look forward to contributing more often. SUbklik.
