I picked up a Zues device from Amazon for roughly $150. It was my maiden voyage with one, and as long as the setting isn’t cranked too high, it feels wonderful. That said, it can become quite intense, offering some really engaging punishment.

Earlier today, I let out more noise than usual and got sent to stand in the corner on strict orders to stay silent. Both sets of electrodes were hooked up, with the power dialed to about 75%. I had the sound-activated program running at a higher level too. It was definitely a form of punishment; if I so much as took a deep breath, it would deliver a sharp shock. The jolts are strong enough to make me cry out, which triggers yet another zap.

I’m not entirely sure whether this is good or bad news for me! On the plus side, there’s an automatic timeout feature—I believe it lasts about 15 minutes—and while there aren’t many program options available, the unit handles both pleasure and pain quite well.
