Hi all!:) Today was one of those afternoons where I decided to put my brain to good use and think a bit.:p I don’t want to sound offensive, so please don’t take it personally: doesn’t the sissy phenomenon count as somewhat sexist? Of course, I’m not talking about those who enjoy dressing and acting like women because they genuinely feel that’s their natural state. Nor am I referring to all the dominant women who dress up their submissive partners simply because they enjoy doing so—it is clearly a great form of humiliation!:p I’m talking about those subs who view feminization as an extension of the chastity and D/s lifestyle, trying to push their KHs/Dommes into making them feminine because they believe it’s just logical. To me, this feels like a sexist way of thinking. Do they assume that being submissive in a relationship means you must also adopt the female role, as if submissiveness and womanhood go hand in hand? Shouldn’t we empower what it means to be male instead? Being a man should be enough for us to feel vulnerable, exposed, and perfectly normal while still fearing the wrath of our beloved halves. It’s not really a rant; I just want to debate this!:p I completely respect those who dress up because they LOVE it. After all, being female is supposedly better, so I understand where that comes from!:p @jemima I still love you, don’t worry ^^ But who am I to judge? I’m just a silly cat ready to play with a piece of paper for ten hours straight.:p
