Based on what I’ve gathered from reading about this topic, there are three main ways to achieve full security:
- Get a piercing.
- Wear a complete belt.
- Employ an anti-pullout modification for a balltrap cage.
Focusing on point 3), the core issue relates to how you actually enter these devices. Typically, you pass the balls through the main ring and then fold your penis to jam it in place. The problem arises because if you can push them in that way, they can also come back out the same way. This reversibility is what makes many of these devices inherently flawed. While some cages feature a hinged basering, a comfortable size often means the ring is still large enough for this reverse motion to occur.
Regarding anti-pullout modifications, there are three options:
- A vertical or forward-facing pin/spike assembly that fits into the base ring and presses against the penis when it tries to pull back. However, I’ve seen reports of bruising and abrasion with long-term wear using this method.
- A urethral plug - since it must extend deep (well past the base ring) to be effective, it’s also not ideal for extended use due to increased risk of discomfort or infection in the urethral track over time.
- A silicone cock ring that encircles just the penis and threads into the gap between the locking ring and padlock. This makes retracting the penis difficult and putting it back nearly impossible. Note that this doesn’t work with all devices (for example, the Holy Trainer lacks a pin and lock), and there is a risk of long-term blood flow constriction.
So I’m curious if anyone has other clever ideas? Is there perhaps a generic lockable belt compatible with standalone ball-trap devices? Most belt solutions come with an integrated cage. I’ve experimented by modifying an old regular leather belt to run through the device. The drawback is that if you can slide the belt down past your backside, you’re right back where we started, so it needs to be tight enough to stay above the hips (which often feels too tight). Alternatively, a semi-rigid design might work.
Any thoughts..?
