Female led relationships discussion

There is something interesting about my Lady: strong dominating women run in her family. She is the youngest of three sisters. The eldest sister isn’t dominant and lives a traditional, very conservative married life. However, the middle sister clearly runs her household, while the youngest (my Lady) dominates me. The fascinating part is that their mother probably wouldn’t recognize the term FLR, but she most definitely dominates her husband. He doesn’t do anything without her approval. She won’t even let him drive. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if she has spanked him over her knee a few times. According to my Lady, her Grandmother was a cowgirl in Texas, living on the back of a horse ranching for a living. It seems I married into a family where women have been strong and independent for generations, often as strong or stronger than the men they choose to be around. Does anyone else find that the strong woman runs in their family?
