Recent happenings have inspired me. I am still in awe of the power and energy shown by both the dominant and submissive, KH and her cagee together. If someone could capture this phenomenon, it would be enough to light up an entire town. It is that light our lifestyle gives each other—a joining of minds and souls, a collision of emotions so powerful it can knock a man to his knees or lift a woman to heights of confidence she never knew existed. AWESOME! Sometimes like any energy, a reaction sets in and negative elements pop up: unharnessed power, conflict, rage, drama. But handled well, taking a knee for a bit might be all that is needed to recover back to that glowing light we are drawn to—the one that sparks our world and helps us see how to live our lives. I have spent time in war zones as many of you likely have too. I witnessed hurt, pain, lack of compromise, and a need to subjugate at the most negative level. Often there was no way back: missing margins, lacking respect. We do not suffer that; we possess beauty, love, opportunity, compromise, respect, and tolerance. When compromise is offered, it is very gracious to accept and honor it. Let us make good use of these qualities. I know my life feels better when I do… does yours?
