Novices and newbies discussion

I’m new to this whole setup, but I’ve noticed that when I wear my cage, the tip sometimes sticks out a little and rubs against my underwear. It feels like a tiny pinprick which is really annoying. If it’s not that issue, it seems as though the fabric of my undies is shoving the ring back into my pelvis, which isn’t great either. Does anyone else deal with these problems? How do you fix them? And what underwear works best?
